NEWS UPDATE | Please note that dates for these events have been changed, and will now take place during May and June 2014.

This year marks 133 years of services to the Deaf by the National Institute for the Deaf.

To celebrate the occasion and raise funds and awareness for the organisation, two Commemorative Runs will be held during May and June 2014.

1. 133km Commemorative Relay for the Deaf – Saturday, 24 May 2014:

On the 24th of May, 10 teams of 13 athletes each will run the Commemorative Relay from Wellington to Gordon’s Bay. The runners will generate funds for the multiple-disabled Deaf at NID through sponsorships for these athletes.

2. 133km Commemorative Run for the Deaf – Friday 20 – Sunday 22 June 2014

13 runners … 133km … in 3 days! The runners will start with the Commemorative Run on Friday, 20 June 2014 in Gordons Bay and end on Sunday 22 June 2014 in Gansbaai, covering 44,3 km each day.

We’re supporting this great cause, and invite you to do the same. Check out the event on Facebook.

We’ll be hosting a water station at our estate entrance, so hope to see you there!
